A Daily Readings App brought to you from the Christian Hymns UK team, and based on C H Spurgeon’s Morning and Evening. The text for the daily readings has been lightly modernized. The App includes a complete version of the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible, licensed from Crossway. For every day, and for both morning and evening the App includes:
- The Bible verse selected by C H Spurgeon
- A short additional Bible reading chosen to complement Spurgeon’s comments
- A hymns (from Christian Hymns) to read or sing, along with the accompanying music (which plays in the App)
- The meditation from C H Spurgeon which has been lightly modernized
- A “for thought and prayer” section at the end of each reading
There are also sections describing how to use the App, the various copyright and license agreements, a privacy statement, a feedback section, and access to the complete ESV.
